Exchange rate at the National Bank of Egypt on Tuesday

Exchange rates for most foreign currencies at the National Bank of Egypt fell on Tuesday, while the price of the US dollar and the rest of Arab currencies stabilized at the start of morning trading.

The NBE announced the first exchange rate update bulletins at 8:56 a.m.

The price of the US dollar stabilized in the morning, as well as the prices of the Saudi riyal, the United Arab Emirates dirham, the Bahraini dinar and the Omani riyal.

The price of the Jordanian dinar increased by one piastre for the sale and the price of the Qatari riyal decreased by one piastre for the sale.

The exchange rate for the Canadian dollar increased by three dollars when buying and four dollars when selling.

The Danish krone, the Norwegian krone and the Swedish krona each fell by one piastre on the purchase and sale.

The euro fell by four piastres when buying and six piastres when selling, and the pound sterling fell by three piastres when buying and eight piastres when selling.

The Swiss franc was down four piastres when buying and selling, and the Japanese yen was down 17 piastres when buying and eight piastres when selling.

The Australian dollar fell by one piastre on the purchase and five piastres on the sale, and the Kuwaiti dinar fell by four piastres on the purchase and sale.

The price of the US dollar stabilized against the Egyptian pound, while exchange rates fell in the exchange rate bulletin announced by the bank this morning.
